Seasons of Change
RISE UP WARRIOR,
Before we open our Bibles and dive in God’s Word today, let me pray over our time together.
Heavenly Father, I come before you with each mighty Warrior for Your Kingdom reading this blog post today. Jesus, we pray for a sight, sound, and scent barrier between us and the enemy. May You guard our mind, heart, and soul as we dive in your Word together. I pray for Your sweet aroma to fill each sacred place we sit as we dwell in Your presence today. I pray that we would see Your face and feel Your touch. Thank You Jesus, for You are good and Your promise is Yes and Amen. We rebuke backlash from the enemy and pray that You would give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart to receive from You today, in Your mighty Name, Amen.
For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes in the morning.

Last week, I encountered a beautiful conversation that Jesus used to encouraged my heart. Sitting across from one of my patients, I began typing on my computer, pulling up my patients account. “What kind of season are you in?” her voice gently spoke. Shifting my gaze from my computer to the eyes of my patient, I saw her sweet eyes and aged smile, speaking with a tender heart. As we began talking, I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and for the first time in a long time, I opened up to someone I had just met, a sweet sister in Christ. Towards the end of our blessed conversation, my patient said something I’ll never forget. She said, “we spend our lives so focused on the season we want to be in that we forget to be present in the one God put us in, the present.” I don’t know if I’ll have a moment to meet with this patient again, but in the few minutes we had, the Lord stirred my spirit. Have you experienced a moment like this recently?
So, today I want to encourage you to RISE UP WARRIOR and get deep with yourself and with God. What kind of season are you walking through? Are you diving head first in joy? Are you working through noise, discerning God’s will for your life? Are you letting go of past hurt, breaking free from bondage, or cleansing your “house” of spiritual chains, moving forward in freedom? Are you dancing with the King of peace, unbothered? Are you grieving, walking in sorrow and surrender, or simply remaining present in God’s presence?
I’m walking through a season of inner healing, of discovering the power of grace, the freedom of forgivingness, and the faith that arises from a heart of surrender and praise. “In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus” a prayer my soul sings as I step into each, new day. There’s a sacred place God has taken me the last few months, a place of rest, a place of grace, a place where I can dream in His presence, praise through surrender, and breathe as I believe in faith that His ways are higher than my own. The Lord has been hiding my heart in His sacred place, with a love so gentle, it’s healing.
Whatever season you are walking through, RISE UP WARRIOR. There is a grace when the heart is under fire, there is healing in surrender, there is freedom in forgiveness, and there is spiritual covering as we arise with courage and trust God over seeking clarity! It’s in the moments of solitude, the moments of surrender, the moments of awareness, the moments of silence, of pain, of waiting and of change where faith blooms. It’s not in our ability to understand but in our act of surrender, of praise, and of RISING UP that we experience breakthrough in the midst of our battles!
Around 3 am, God woke me up and gave me a visual that was so powerful, I just had to share with you. As my sleepy eyes opened, I could see Jesus giving me a jar. As I took this clear jar, God told me to place whatever I needed inside. As tears fell from my sleepy eyes, I imagined placing every memory that haunted my heart with pain inside. “Okay Jesus, it’s all in there.” I could see Jesus smiling, He closed the lid and with my gaze fixed on Jesus, I began seeing flowers bloom from the lid of the jar. Beautiful, vibrant flowers with lush green stems. I could see it as clear as day, the old has passed away and the new was here. “Thank you Jesus” I whispered with a spiritual tide of breakthrough flowing through my heart and soul. With peace and new found joy arising in my heart, I smiled and laid my head down to rest.
If God handed you an empty jar right now, what would you place inside?
The Bible tells us that “There is a season for everything…” The beauty of seasons (both physical and spiritual) is that at one point or another, they change. It’s time to RISE UP WARRIOR and break through the noise, the hurt, the fear, the set backs, the word curses, the lies from the enemy, the anxiety, the worry, the spiritual chains, the pain, the regret, the anger, and the mirror keeping your eyes on the past! It’s time to RISE UP WARRIOR and walk in the divine promise from the Holy Spirit! It’s time to live battle ready, with the armor of the Holy Spirit shielding you head to toe! It’s time to take it to the Cross! It’s time to use your testimony for generational legacy in Jesus Name! It’s time to dive head first in joy! It’s time to work through the noise, discerning God’s will for your life! It’s time to let go of past hurt, break free from bondage, and cleansing your “house” of spiritual chains, moving forward in freedom! It’s time to dance with the KING of Peace, unbothered! It’s time to walk in surrender and remain present in God’s presence! For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor a lifetime! Have you ever noticed that when God wanted to make a queen of Esther, He gave her courage through crisis. When God wanted to make a king out of David, He gave Him Goliath. When God wanted to make a leader of Moses, He gave him the wilderness, and when God wanted to raise Joseph to the palace, He gave him a prison.
You are a working force of Heaven, Warrior!
Your prayer carries the power of the Holy Spirit!
Your “Goliaths” are preparing the leader God has called you to be!
Your courage through crisis is refining the nations you will reach!
Your wilderness is essential to the divine revelation God has for your life and His glory!
Cry out to the one who created the Heavens and the earth, weep when you need to, clean your spiritual house, keep your gaze fixed on Jesus, and RISE UP, WARRIOR! You are precious, marvelous, magnificent, worthy, full-known, and a powerful pillar of God’s truth! Press into God’s Word, and praise because God Rose and defeated the grave! Use your testimony to share the Gospel! Love and serve those around you! More than anything, arise battle ready! No more hiding your light or bowing down under pressure. We are God’s sons and daughters. We are the salt and light of the World! We are carriers of God’s truth, refined in His image and Word to reach nations for His glory! The same God who defeated the grave lives inside of you and me. The same God who parted the seas lives inside of you and me! The same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the grave lives inside of you and me! The same God who calmed the waves calls us by name to RISE UP and walk with Him daily! There is purpose in everything you’ve walked through, there is purpose in the inner healing you work through each day, there is purpose in the battle, and there are blessings ahead. If the next step of your life seems uncertain, RISE UP WARRIOR, God has you and His BEST for your life is coming. Stay present, stay in the Word of God, stay grounded through the pruning process, and stay aware! There is a shift in the air, a powerful promise of divine timing with blessings over your heart, mind, and life coming. Believe in faith with me Warrior. “For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all of your ways” -Psalm 91:11
It’s time to RISE UP WARRIOR, for God is doing a new thing. He’s making new wine through your surrender and breaking new ground in this season. His goodness and mercy will follow you all of your days. I can’t wait for all of the wonderful people you’ll reach, the hearts you’ll touch, the lives Jesus will save through your testimony. I can’t wait for God’s “YES!” to fall afresh over your life as you break through your battles, surrender in faith, and take that bold step of faith, letting go of everything you thought you wanted to receive God’s divine blessings. “A person’s steps are established by the Lord, and he takes pleasure in his way.” - Psalm 37:23
So, scatter the earth with God’s goodness, glory, and truth, RAISING UP an army of believers as you break through spiritual currents! For the war is already won. Armies of angelic angles surround you, and the God who defeated the grave is saying to you, “Arise my child, I love you.”
